(PGH) Growth hormone is a protein hormone that is produced and provided cells in the pituitary somatotrophs. It monitors and / or the effects of many physiological processes, including muscle growth and metabolism of lipids. When it is generated within the body, it is called endogenous - and when it is performed by an external source, it is called exogenous. Growth hormone, like many other hormones have direct effects (acting directly on tissues and cells) and indirect effects (stimulating the release or synthesis of hormones, eg IGF-1, which in its turn, the effect of tissue and cells on its own). Growth hormone also has the ability to directly influence the loss of fat, and fat cells have receptors, growth hormone.
